New Yoshi's Island is an Island that the Yoshi herd rebuilt. Chief of the Yoshi's is very pleased with it. However almost half the land is destroy because of the battle. Chief Yoshi does rebuild it and keeps it under order. THis place is visited a lot in the second saga when the heroes find many clues on the island. The island holds a hidden rare gemstone that powers it; keeping it from collapsing and sinking. As Ganondorf tried to get it, the heroes stopped him.
